Eric Solberg, a California garden designer was born, raised, and educated in Buffalo, New York. Do to an urban modernization project and The Pan American Exposition of 1901, he grew up deeply affected by a citywide landscape and canopy of trees designed and planted by Fredrick Law Olmstead.
After arriving in Los Angeles in the early 1980’s, he joined the team of garden designers at Sassafras Nursery in Topanga, California. He has been designing gardens in Los Angeles for 20 years. His work has been featured in the L.A. Times, House & Garden, Time magazine, and Martha Stewart Living.
